Description

This Lacorsa Belgian Yellow Racecar Set is a timeless piece that pays homage to the iconic Belgian Grand Prix entry with Olivier Gendebien behind the wheel of a Ferrari 156. 

It features two classic bright yellow injection-molded ABS plastic playing pieces, one with a black stripe. The set also includes 18 Racecar Performance playing cards that recreate the 1961 Grand Prix Season and a new Track Card that introduces a unique rule variant for the French Grand Prix.

Our family loves this game. It’s easy to learn, fast to play, and does have some outstanding strategy involved. It’s well put together. I wish the cars were die-cast and painted - but that wouldn’t make it nearly as affordable. I love it.

Really great game!

Whether you are a fan of F1 racing or not, you will love this game. It is a great tactile experience - the game parts are high quality and made to last. The game mechanics are fast and easy to learn, but the strategy found in deploying cards makes each race different and exciting. I love the fact that they offer so many historic car liveries and expansion sets to keep things interesting. At its most basic level you can enjoy the simple thrill of the race in 10-15 minutes, or a full 7-race season in an hour. Or, if you love F1, revel in the ability to recreate great Grand Prix seasons of the 1960s with cool modifiers for great drivers of the past and great F1 track modifications. The game is rated ages 14+, but we play all the time with our grandchildren ages 7, 8 and 10 and they not only understand the game, but ask us to play it each week!
