Lacorsa Racecar Set: JPS Black

This set of two jet-black cars is inspired by the famous John Player Special liveries of Lotus. The second car features the obligatory metallic gold stripe. The cars are designed to resemble race car shapes from the classic Grand Prix era. The elegant design of the cars makes them look like Formula One chess pieces and they are made from injection-molded plastic.

Fast paced fun

I got this for a friend’s birthday as we are both F1 fans and figured we could both play it. We didn’t know what to expect but we both really enjoy it.

will it come back in the expansion?

I love this car so much! no wonder it is always out of stock, with this epic expansion still unfolding, will we get an updated marker card for it even though JPS never sponsored Lotus in the 60s same goes for gulf blue, will we ever get an updated marker card?

Thank you! That livery looks great. We decided to exclude JPS Black and Gulf Blue from the Expansion for the reason you mentioned: there were no corresponding cars from that era featuring those colors. However, Gulf Blue and JPS Black marker cards are available in the current core Lacorsa set; they have been included in the last three printings.

Battle before the race

Son always wants the black car, so does dad. Looks like we both get one with this set, unless it’s racing as teams... then dad will let son have them so he can take the battle to the track. Pick your battles wisely.
