Lacorsa Racecar Set: Gulf Blue
The historic Gulf Blue livery is now available for Lacorsa! You can now race in the colors that have graced the greatest racing cars of all time.
The set includes two classic cars in Light Blue and Light Blue with Orange Stripe. Much ighter than French Racing Blue, Bleu De France, and Eagle Blue
They are compatible with the Lacorsa Grand Prix Game and are inspired by the beautiful shapes from the classic grand prix era. The solid design turns the cars into Formula One chess pieces made from injection-molded plastic.

The car gives me such a sense of nostalgia and the colors are amazing. What team is gulf blue considered? I thought it was Porsche until I saw that silver arrows were Porsche in the expansion. I always thought silver arrows were Mercedes. I am only two car sets away from getting the complete 11 team series.

Gulf Blue doesn’t work in the expansion because I can't identify a period-accurate F1 team that used that livery; it has traditionally been a sports car color. It's tough not to create one, especially since it has been our most popular option. However, Williams F1 did run Gulf Blue as a one-off at the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix. It probably would have been better to name “Arrow Silver” differently, considering the expansion. Perhaps “German Racing Silver” would have been a more suitable choice.

I was offered a deal to get the extra blue pieces and honestly they look so great on the race board and really brighten up the board and over all look for the Game.
