Description

These Gulf Blue Lacorsa race cars are truly breathtaking. Inspired by one of the most iconic racing liveries of all time, this set features two stunning vehicles: one in a solid, sleek design and another adorned with a striking orange stripe. Much lighter in color than the traditional French Racing Blue, Bleu De France, or Eagle Blue, these cars evoke the elegant shapes of the golden grand prix era. The solid-bodied design transforms each car into a powerful Formula One chess piece, crafted from high-quality injection-molded plastic, ready to ignite your imagination and elevate your collection.

AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!

The car gives me such a sense of nostalgia and the colors are amazing. What team is gulf blue considered? I thought it was Porsche until I saw that silver arrows were Porsche in the expansion. I always thought silver arrows were Mercedes. I am only two car sets away from getting the complete 11 team series.
(more reviews for the other teams soon)

Gulf Blue doesn’t work in the expansion because I can't identify a period-accurate F1 team that used that livery; it has traditionally been a sports car color. It's tough not to create one, especially since it has been our most popular option. However, Williams F1 did run Gulf Blue as a one-off at the 2021 Monaco Grand Prix. It probably would have been better to name “Arrow Silver” differently, considering the expansion. Perhaps “German Racing Silver” would have been a more suitable choice.
