Excellent game

The base rules are great to play. I can imagine watching a real F1 race while playing. The extended rules are more exciting to play, with all the conpelx mechanics of pit lane, incident, and track properties. I am also trying to implement community rules to make it far more realistic. The only limit with this game is your own imagination...

An Elegant GP Game

Lacrosa is such a simple idea for such a complex sport, and this is its brilliance and genius. It focuses on the essence and excitement of F1 racing - the overtake on the straightaway. In an era before downforce and DRS zones, we had cars on a track, head-to-head, looking to speed ahead and beat the cars next to you through grit, race-craft, and talent. Beyond the simplistic playability of this game, there is an aesthetic quality to it that it looks good just sitting out - whether you are playing it or not.

I couldn't be happier with this purchase and it has quickly become a go-to game on non-racing weekends or on week nights when we want a quick and fast game. Highly recommend this game and I'll be keeping a close eye on future expansions (if they continue to create more content).

My new favorite

I love board games and f1 so this combination is perfect. It's so easy to teach but hard to master. Playing with 6 people (3 teams of 2) over a 7 race series is one of the best game experiences I've had. My only complaints are they're sold out of cars alot and with the extra cars storing all the little boxes is annoying. But I fixed it with a small tackle box.
