Lacorsa Grand Prix Racing Board Game

I got this for my husband for Christmas given his recent F1 obsession. It was a lot of fun! Excited to play with a larger group to see how the dynamics change.

This game is a celebration of good graphic and product design! It appears deceptively simple but is great to play. The perfect gift for the car or race enthusiast in your life.

My whole family enjoys playing this game, we've only played 3 people at a time but we look forward to playing with more people.

Husband really loves it

I got this for my 17 year old son for his BDay both my boys (17/18) are into F1 racing. We watched the video for the gist and played three races. After a sample race we got the hang of it There is quite a bit of strategy which was perfect for us and in team play the drafting cards are very cool and strategic moves. We are going to definitely play it again. Each race was about 15–20 minutes as we were getting the hang of it So 60 minutes of quality time with the boys NOT playing video games. A huge win. I do think it’s a game for thinkers. So kids likely above 10 will enjoy it best.

Our son is a big race fan. My wife is not, but we found the game very fun to play As a family, enjoyable for everyone

We bought this game before our annual family trip. Although only 2 of the 11 family members are F1 fans, the entire family loves playing the game.

Can’t say enough good things about it! All of the complexity and strategy of racing delivered in an easily digestible package. The gameplay design is brilliantly ingenuous. You will feel like a kid again!

A family favorite that everyone had down after the first race. Can’t wait for our first “championship”. Absolutely worth every penny and highly recommended to racing fans and non-fans alike.

Great Game and the expansion pack adds more fun to the game!

I’ve had a wonderful experience with this game. I let my four-year-old and my 8-year-old twin girls play it, and they’re picking up the strategy surprisingly quickly. The gameplay itself is very approachable for them—figuring out the strategy is the fun challenge, and they’re already starting to get the hang of it. Highly recommend for families!

This game has taken over our game nights! It's so fun and easy to play! We've been running our own championship and we can't get enough of it!

I bought the basic game and the 1962 Season expansion. I am quite happy with the game, but there are three things I would have changed. The basic game does not include pitstops. All of us who have played it strongly believe the basic game needs to include pitstops. The race car cards that come with both the basic game and the expansion do not match the physical vehicles that came with the game. That was pretty annoying. Also, the game would benefit from having pitstop markers that you can put on your car card to indicate the number of pitstops taken during the game.

I bought this as a spontaneous/late birthday gift for my friend and his girlfriend. They both really like Formula 1 and from reviews and the description of the game it seems like its a great combination of Formula 1 and fast paced board games. When my friend brought it home to his girlfriend, she immediately wanted to play it and they had an absolute blast! They really appreciated the depth and pace of the game as well as the different outcomes that are possible with more players and different strategies!

First love the game, I love f1 a feel the game goes right with it. The strategy is simple and yet can be super complex, and best part can change from game to game.

However the package I got came with three extra sets of cars. I expected that the cars would come with more suits so that more the 6 players could play. The grand prex conditions are awesome and add to the game. But knowing now that the extra cars did not add players to my game I would not have bought them.

This game is so fun for F1 lovers and board game lovers! I got it for my partner for Christmas and we’ve already played it 4 times. It makes you think and it’s just a different kind of board game!!! I have a closet full of games but I think we will be reaching for this one again and again.

I have the base game and several of the expansions and I would recommend this to any one who enjoys board games. If you are a Formula 1 fan who enjoys board games this is a must have.

Lacorsa is a really beautiful game to look at when it is all laid out on the table, and the rules for the game are straight forward and easy to pick up. This simplicity allows you to really focus on strategy when you are actually playing the game. The game mechanics are so on point that it feels like you are trying to implement a Formula 1 team's grand prix strategy during a race.

The expansions add to already a great base game with pit stops, incidents, and unique rules for specific grand prix (and those grand prix rules all make sense for the various tracks).

Pick this game up. You won't regret it.

Just like the sport, your strategy can go right or wrong. Very clever game.
I just wish there were more cards to play for offense or defense, like a mandatory pit stop against opponents where The get a turn skipped, or DRS to act as an automatic pass.

I loved going to the f1 arcade and I figured this would be cute for my bf. He loved it but sadly he dumped me

This game is a lot of fun, and offers so much room to strategize within an overall simple format, it's great! However, the written rules that come with the game don't give enough information to play even one lap through without running into unanswered questions. We had to look up online play-through videos to get a comprehensive overview of the rules - once we did that, we were able to play with no issues, but it was a rocky way to get started.

We bought this game for our son who loves all things F1. Little did we know that the rest of the family would enjoy playing it as much as he did! This fun game is easy to learn, offered fun strategy options, and provided an afternoon of laughter and conversation. We are already looking forward to playing it again!

We're a family of long-time F1 fans and everyone loved this game! It's a beautiful wood board with nice game pieces (cars) and cards. The rules are easy to learn and we had so much fun trying out different team strategies as we played our grand prix races over the course of the holiday weekend. A fast new family favorite!

So much fun! My friends and I have already talked about running longer seasons or different rules we could make up for different GPs. Can’t wait to play this game on repeat for months to come.

I bought this for my favorite F1 fan for Christmas, she was delighted. She already has the miniature Lego F1 cars, and wants the option to play with those instead of the standard set. Would it be possible to make a board that’s slightly larger, to accommodate the form factor of these slightly larger cars?
We can obviously play without a board, and the Lego board would not need Lego connectors, just a wide enough surface for the wheelbase. Would buy if offered 🖖😌
